To prepare as a tea, pour 8 ounces boiling water over 1 to 2 teaspoons of herb. Cover and steep for 5 to 10 minutes, strain and serve immediately.
Raspberry leaves are green with a silver-gray underside. The tiny hairs, responsible for the lighter-colored appearance of the undersides of the leaves, cause the cut leaves to cling together and form clumps. Leaf petioles (stems) are present and may have small thorns. Plants stems should not be present at greater than 5 percent.
