Frontier® Darjeeling Black Tea creates a honey-colored infusion from Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe grade leaves, with a unique aroma and a complex, light-to-medium black tea flavor. Its bright astringency works equally well with rich or oily foods, like a light fish course or dessert. Darjeeling’s multi-faceted flavor also serves nicely as the centerpiece of traditional tea time. Our bulk Darjeeling tea is kosher certified and non-irradiated.
To enjoy, pour 6 oz. simmering water (185º F preferred) over one teaspoon of tea. Steep 4-5 minutes, strain and serve immediately.
This particular tea is harvested in autumn which is referred to as the third flush.
