Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 cups cooked basmati rice
- 2 tablespoons gluten-free or regular soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Frontier Co-op® Organic Cane Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon Frontier Co-op® Organic Garlic Powder
- 1 to 2 teaspoons Frontier Co-op® Organic Ground Ginger Root
- 1/2 tablespoon Frontier Co-op® Organic Cilantro
- 1 pinch Frontier Co-op® Organic Sea Salt
- 1 pinch Frontier Co-op® Organic Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped scallions or green onions (optional)
Directions
- Heat oils in a large skillet. Sauté onion until tender and translucent.
- Add rice to skillet.
- In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar, and spices. Stir into rice and cook until hot throughout, about 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle scallions over top if desired, and serve.
