Color Kitchen began with founder Ashley Phelps, whose curiosity about food sensitivities and chemical additives started early in life. Raised by a nutritionist mother, she grew up understanding how food impacts well-being – and with a serious sweet tooth, she set out to make desserts that are as wholesome as they are colorful.

Ashley first channeled her love of natural pigments into Glob Colors, a line of food-grade, plant-based paints for kids. From there, her passion evolved into Color Kitchen, offering natural food colorings and dye kits made from pure, plant-derived ingredients. Today, Color Kitchen continues to bring joy and creativity to kitchens everywhere with artificial-dye-free, plant-based, vegan, gluten-free, and non-GMO colors that make baking and decorating both fun and worry-free.
