Back in 1969, Celestial Seasonings did more than just start a tea company. As the original herbal tea company, they started an entirely new way of thinking about tea. In a way, they started a movement – a shift towards healthier, happier little moments carved into ever-busier days. 

More than 45 years later, they are still true to those roots. Celestial Seasonings believe their delicious teas improve people’s lives by inviting balance, and that belief drives our commitment to their customers, community and our planet.

Sourced From Around The World

All their teas are blended in our hometown of Boulder, Colorado but they source their 100+ botanicals from more than 35 different countries around the world, with 70% of those ingredients purchased directly from the farmers and local communities. Going “straight to the source” whenever possible allows them to select only the highest-quality ingredients and to continually monitor each crop.
