Our story
Prince of Peace Enterprises, Inc. (POP) was established in 1983 by its founder Kenneth Yeung. POP is a minority run business and also certified for organic processing and marketing. POP’s goal has been to become a world class provider of natural health food & gourmet quality products at competitive prices. The company’s mission has been for its teams to make a positive contribution to our world. POP does this through increasing the knowledge about health and through encouraging the development of healthy lifestyles by providing quality products and outstanding service. In particular, the natural foods channel has been a great fit for POP because of its personal nature and its emphasis on healthy living.


Our Products
The Prince of Peace product line covers a variety of categories. The hottest & fastest selling category has been its ginger products—led off by Ginger Honey Crystals and recently expanded to Ginger Candy (Chews)—ranked #1 & #2 in 2015 respectively for POP’s natural channel sales. POP’s organic tea line has seen strong year over year growth. The teas are USDA organic certified, taste great, and a value price. POP’s own ginseng extracts have been the #1 selling brand of ginseng supplements for many years running (SPINS, Natural Channel, 52 weeks, Dec. 2013). Other favorite products from Asia are Han’s Honey Loquat, Bee & Flower Soaps, and Tiger Balm pain relieving products. POP has been USA’s exclusive importer of Tiger Balm since 1986. In regards to product quality, POP products are independently tested here in the US for pesticides and heavy metals. Test results confirm that the products are in compliance with state and federal regulations.


Our Social Responsibility & Sustainability
A core Prince of Peace philosophy is “Blessed to be a blessing”. Since its inception, POP has desired to not only sell products but to make a difference in the world. POP’s main project is the Prince of Peace Children’s Home (POPCH) in Tianjin, China. It is home to over 140+ children with special needs. The children receive a host of services from medical care, developmental training, and education from a very caring staff (World Vision, an established worldwide children’s relief organization). Prince of Peace & Tiger Balm have been involved in breast cancer awareness and prevention through its sponsorship of Susan G. Komen and AVON Breast Cancer Walk events. Over the years, POP has also donated to many emergency relief efforts around the world, and through the POPS Foundation has helped many families with international adoptions. Being good to our planet and the avoidance of waste are also important to POP. All of POP’s US operations (Northern California, Southern California, and Dayton New Jersey) are equipped with solar which produces about 85%+ of its energy needs.
