Website Performance Update

As promised, here is the first monthly progress update on our website improvement process.

Overall, things are on schedule.

  • We are confident in our commitment to launch a greatly improved website on the first of August.
  • The team is working diligently to ensure the new site reflects the voice of the customer. This refers to the site functionality and experience preferences that Frontier Co-op members expect.
  • We continue to reflect on the feedback we received late last year and the continued feedback we receive daily. With every decision we ask ourselves what is best for our customers and what will make the shopping experience enjoyable and efficient.
  • In addition to fixing the issues that have affected checkout and search, we are focused on improving the richness of our content, the consistency of our data, and the way we communicate with you throughout your order.

In my experience, I’ve found that any technology project needs three key things to succeed:

First, the organization needs vision and passion. Before coming to Frontier Co-op nine months ago, I worked for a number of Fortune 500 companies and I can attest that I have never worked in an organization with more passion for its customers.

Second is a top-notch partner to help with the design, development, implementation and support of the technology. I am proud to say that we have picked a partner that delivers excellence in these areas. Our partner has developed sites for the Green Bay Packers, Fossil, and Fitbit to name a few. They have decades of experience creating high quality digital experiences across many different industries.

Third, the technology platform needs to be proven. We have picked a world-class e-commerce platform that companies like Nike, Coca-Cola, Ford, Coach and thousands more use. It is known for digital experience success, reliability and adaptability for growth.

We have always had passion and vision. Now we have the right partner and the right platform. We are anticipating a successful launch in August with the enhanced features and functionality to deliver a world-class digital experience anytime, anywhere and on any device.
